We can’t believe that already 1 year has passed since we had the idea to start an NFT project on the WAX blockchain in pixel art style, but here we are!
On June 11th 2021 we opened the gates to our Discord server and started our NFT journey with the very first Waxel Ninja avatars NFT drop on June 26th 2021 on NeftyBlocks. To this day we can’t believe that all Waxel Ninja avatars have been purchased in just 7 hours!
You can’t believe how happy it made us watching the first people on Discord and Twitter starting to use them as their profile pictures.
On August 8th 2021 the big drop of the 10,000 Waxel Ninjas started and nearly 6,000 have been claimed to this day. With the positive response we got from pretty much everyone, we knew that we have something truly special here.
Shortly after the drop we focused on the next big challenge, working on our own game, the Waxel World. You can believe us that we tried our best to release it within the very first year of Waxel, but unpredictable things happened that have thrown us back… but we are still here and soon we will be able to finally release the Waxel World for everyone to enjoy. The release will just be the beginning as we are here to stay and have more than enough ideas for the coming 10+ years!
A lot has happened in just 1 year and we can’t thank you and the whole WAX community enough for this opportunity. Being able to wake up every day, hang around with one of the loveliest communities, make new friends and work on something we truly love!

How to get it?
- Join our Discord
- Fill out this Google form with your WAX wallet and Discord username (will be open for 24 hours during the Waxel birthday from 11th June 0:00 CEST until 12th June 0:00 CEST)
- We will then go over that list to remove obvious bots
- The wallets of all valid entries will be put on a whitelist and you will be able to claim the NFT on June 12th
- There will be an announcement when you will be able to claim your NFT on NeftyBlocks

- Fill out this Google form with your WAX wallet, Discord username and country of origin (will be open for 24 hours during the Waxel birthday from 11th June 0:00 CEST until 12th June 0:00 CEST)
- The country of origin is needed to determine shipping costs and if it is possible at all to ship to you
- We will then go over that list to remove obvious bots
- All valid entries will be put into wheelofnames.com and 3 people will be raffled out
- Each winner will get 1 coupon to claim 1 Waxel T-shirt
